PROJECTS

Your IT projects, from the initial need to day-to-day operations.

Backing up your data, building custom software, hosting and monitoring your applications — for public and private organisations, with or without an IT department.

Who I am

IT engineering and digital transformation, from Vendôme, France

For over twenty years I have supported organisations of every size — large corporations, mid-sized companies and public bodies — in designing, deploying and operating their information systems: all the software and servers that keep your organisation running day to day.

I have worked for demanding clients such as Amundi Technology, BNP Paribas, Crédit Foncier and a Thales / Atos joint venture. Environments described as critical and secure: services that are not allowed to stop, and data that is not allowed to leave.

What I offer

Three services, explained without jargon

They can be ordered separately or together. You do not need to be an IT specialist to know which one applies to you.

01

Keeping your data safe

Backup policies

I design and deploy backup strategies that meet public-sector continuity requirements: retention rules, automated backups, regular restore tests and full documentation. On your own servers, in the cloud, or across both.

In plain terms — If a file, a database or an entire server disappears — hardware failure, human error, ransomware — you get it back. And we checked that we could, before the incident rather than during it.

02

Building the software you are missing

Custom development

Business applications, web interfaces and the interfaces that let software exchange data, built with proven technologies (Python, Go, PHP/Symfony, JavaScript/Node.js). I cover the full cycle: design, development, go-live, then fixes and evolutions.

In plain terms — When no off-the-shelf product matches the way you work, we build the one that does. It stays readable and modifiable afterwards — by your teams or by another supplier.

03

Running your software, and watching over it

Hosting and monitoring

I deploy and administer the infrastructure that hosts your applications: sovereign public cloud (OVH, Scaleway) or secured private infrastructure. Together with the monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki) that continuously measures availability and keeps a trace of what happens.

In plain terms — Your applications run on machines that must be installed, kept up to date and watched. I take care of that — and I know a service is down before your users have to tell you.

Public sector

My commitments to public buyers

Change management and training

A tool nobody knows how to use is worth nothing. Your teams are trained on what is delivered, and the documentation stays with you.

Security and digital sovereignty

Your data stays hosted in Europe, with operators subject to European law. I also work in isolated environments — known as “air-gapped”: infrastructure deliberately cut off from the internet, where the sensitivity of the data requires it.

Sensitive projects

Confidentiality and reliability are not bolted on at the end: they are daily practice in the banking and defence environments I have worked in for twenty years.

When to call me

Do any of these situations sound familiar?

  • Ageing software to replace, or a need no off-the-shelf product covers.
  • Backups that exist, but which nobody has ever verified can be restored.
  • An online service that must hold up under a known peak: registrations, campaign, launch.
  • An application to host, with no IT department to look after it.
  • A platform already live that nobody on your side can operate day to day.

How it works

Four steps, from first conversation to go-live

  1. 01

    Framing

We define the need, the constraints and what will let us say it succeeded.

  2. 02

    Design

I propose a solution and explain the choices, in plain language, before a single line is written.

  3. 03

    Delivery

I build, I test, then I go live — without interrupting your activity.

  4. 04

    Handover

You keep the documentation and the credentials. Your teams take over, or I keep operating it.

After go-live

Who looks after the application once it is running?

An application delivered with nobody to look after it is an unfinished project. The level of support follows one question: what happens on your side if the service is down for an hour? for a day?

Levels of post-launch support, by how critical the service is
LevelWhen I step inRecoveryPreventiveMonitoring
StandardBusiness hoursAgreed with youQuarterlyService responds
EnhancedExtended hoursAgreed with youMonthly+ Response times
CriticalOn-callAgreed with youContinuous+ Alerts before failure

What never changes

  • Tested backups — a restore never verified is not a backup.
  • Written procedures, executable by someone other than me.
  • Guaranteed reversibility: you keep the credentials, the backups and the code. You can leave.

Guarantees

What you can expect

  • Availability and speed designed in from the start, then measured over time.
  • Quality: the software is tested automatically on every change, so one fix cannot silently break another.
  • Documentation and knowledge transfer delivered as part of the project, every time.
