Privacy policy

This policy explains how ARBOUIN Consulting processes personal data through this website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Data controller

The data controller is ARBOUIN Consulting. For any question regarding your personal data, you can contact me by email.

Data collected

This site collects data only in two strictly limited cases:

  • Contact form: name, email address, company (optional), subject and message content. This data is provided voluntarily by you.
  • Server technical logs: IP address, request date and time, page visited and browser type, recorded automatically for security and the proper operation of the site.

Purposes

  • Contact form data is used solely to handle and answer your request.
  • Technical logs are used to ensure security, prevent abuse and diagnose incidents.

Legal basis

  • Contact form: your explicit consent, collected via the form checkbox (Article 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Technical logs: the publisher's legitimate interest in securing and maintaining the site (Article 6.1.f GDPR).

Recipients

Your data is processed by ARBOUIN Consulting for its own needs only. It is never sold, rented or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Only the site host, as a technical processor, may access it strictly as needed to operate the site.

Retention periods

  • Contact form messages: kept for as long as needed to handle the request, then up to 3 years from the last contact, before deletion or archiving.
  • Server technical logs: kept for 12 months at most.

Cookies and trackers

This site uses no tracking cookies, no third-party analytics and no advertising trackers. Fonts are self-hosted: no request is sent to a third-party service while you browse.

With no non-essential cookie, no cookie consent banner is required — a deliberate choice of restraint and privacy.

Transfers outside the European Union

No transfer of your personal data is made outside the European Union.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:

  • right of access and information;
  • right to rectification;
  • right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
  • right to restriction of processing;
  • right to object;
  • right to data portability;
  • right to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, write to me at the email address below. I respond within one month.

Complaint

If you believe the processing of your data does not comply with the regulation, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr.
