Kubernetes, from public cloud to air gap
Kubernetes has become the standard for running applications at scale — provided it is operated correctly. I deploy and administer Kubernetes clusters in production across very different contexts, with the same reliability requirements everywhere.
Public cloud
I operate on the major public cloud providers:
- GCP — Google Kubernetes Engine
- AWS — Elastic Kubernetes Service
- Azure — Azure Kubernetes Service
- Scaleway and OVHcloud — European alternatives
Private infrastructure
Not every organisation can — or wants to — move to the public cloud. I also deploy on On Premise and Air Gap infrastructure, in disconnected environments where every dependency must be controlled and hosted locally.
European sovereignty
For regulated sectors, defence and organisations sensitive to where their data sits, I have expertise in European sovereign environments: hosting and operations within Europe, compliant with sovereignty requirements. I worked in this context for Athea, the Thales / Atos joint venture.
What I operate
- Cluster design and deployment.
- Industrialisation through infrastructure as code.
- Controlled upgrades and continuity plans.
- Security, workload isolation and access management.
- Handover of operations to your teams.
